Where else, in the course of a day, can you have conversations about race relations & segregation, sewing machines, the Rapture, food, home improvement and repairs, children's toys, duct tape clothing repairs, customer service wins and woes, clothes, Chapstick, and a dozen other topics, from the serious to the mundane, with humor, intelligence, and respect?
You all know who you are, and I love our conversations.
I think Trina's still waiting for her Chapstick...

I couldn't agree more. And the best part is, we do it all while carrying on with our lives. Used to be, you'd have to take a vacation away from the job/house/SO/kids/all the rest of the mundane crap that needs doing to get all that socializing done on a daily basis.
I also could not have worked at home, alone, for the past 6 years w/o losing my mind entirely were it not for the friends who live in my computer.
